PARKING

A large, well lit, free parking lot is available in front of the My Salon Suite building, which is easy to find! We are located in the Baker Hill shopping center alongside Pete’s Fresh Market.

SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS

Due to the nature of the suite environment and no booking between existing appointments, same-day appointments may not be available without an appointment.

BOOKING POLICIES

Booking an appointment is available and quickest through online booking, DM on instagram, or by texting 630.464.3130. Due to the busy nature of an independent studio, phone calls will not be answered or returned immediately. Consultation and additional information are required for new guests before booking. I recommend pre-booking the next appointment when leaving to ensure desired time and date due to a high volume of requests.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

If you are not 100% in love with your service, contact me directly to make it right at megan@meganelizabethstudio.com within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment. Your service is guaranteed only when you invest in the recommended salon-quality color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Complimentary adjustments are unavailable during color corrections or if you have box dye in your hair.

PAYMENT TYPES

All major credit cards are accepted, Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Checks are not accepted at this time.

CANCELATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY

We understand that life happens and situations may have exceptions. Please give a 24-hour notice when canceling or rescheduling. If cancelation occurs with less than a 24-hour notice, the guest will be charged 30% of the booked services to the card on file. A no-call/no-show appointment will be charged 100% of the service and will require a full-service deposit for future bookings. Repeat offenders will no longer be able to book appointments with Megan Elizabeth Studio.

TIME EXPECTATIONS

Please be on time for your appointment! Timeliness is essential to providing the best guest experience. I will no longer be double booking to deliver my undivided attention and stay on time for each guest and service. Tardiness may result in loss of services due to lack of time to complete services. Please note that longer/ thicker hair, color transformations, multiple services, and blonding require more time than standard services. The processing time for all color services is a minimum of 30 minutes, but longer in some instances. Please let me know before your appointment if you are on a time restraint, need adjustment, and prefer express services that best fit your allotted timeframe.

PRODUCT RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY

If you are not satisfied with products purchased through Megan Elizabeth Studio or via the salon’s website, we are happy to swap them out for a product of equal or lesser value as long as they have only been used 1 time and are 99% full. We cannot issue refunds on open products. If the swap out is a higher priced item, the guest is responsible to make up the difference. We cannot swap out products less than 90% full and do not issue refunds on products that have been opened/used. If your product is unopened we are happy to issue a return or swap out within 30 days of purchase with receipt.

Bridal Policies

WEDDING DATE

A wedding date will only be secured with a SIGNED CONTRACT and deposit of 20% of the proposed contract.

TRIAL

All brides will require a trial appointment before event date. Trials are only scheduled AFTER all contracts and deposits have been signed and wedding date is booked. . All preview appointments will take place at ME Studio in Glen Ellyn, IL.

EARLY START FEES

Early start fees applies to all bookings starting before 7:00 am.

ONSITE TRAVEL FEE

The onsite travel fee will be extra and will be determined based on location, mileage, parking fees, and hotel stays if applicable. Fees will be discussed upon booking and based on the information provided.

PARTIES OF 6 SERVICES OR MORE AND/OR LIMITED TIME

While I attend to all my brides myself, parties of 6 services or more and/or limited time, additional artists will be required. (If time allows and it is feasible, Megan will work independently to complete all services) On site fees for additional artists will apply. Fees will be discussed and determined based on the time allotted and number of services contracted.
